Have Questions About Coaching?
You’re not alone. Here are answers to some of the most common things people ask before getting started.
-
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward with your goals, coaching can help. I work with students and professionals who want more clarity, structure, and follow-through in their day-to-day life. Whether you're navigating a transition, juggling competing priorities, or just want a better system for managing tasks, we’ll focus on practical strategies that actually work for you.
-
Coaching and therapy can both be helpful, but they serve different purposes. Therapy often focuses on emotional healing and processing the past. Coaching, on the other hand, is future-oriented and action-focused. My role as a coach is to help you build systems, strengthen executive function skills, and make meaningful progress toward your goals.
Coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment, but it can be a great complement to it.

All sessions are held virtually via Zoom. This allows for greater flexibility and makes it easy to meet consistently from wherever you are. If you're specifically looking for in-person coaching, I’m happy to refer you to trusted providers in your area.

Most clients start with weekly or sessions to build momentum and stay accountable. We’ll find a rhythm that works best for your schedule, goals, and capacity.
-
Each session is structured but flexible. We start with a check-in, talk through current challenges, and problem-solve in real time. Many sessions include a task initiation component - meaning we’ll actually start something together. You’ll leave with a clear action plan and a better sense of what to focus on between sessions.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients come in with a specific short-term goal and wrap up after a few sessions. Others prefer ongoing support over several months. We’ll revisit your goals regularly and adjust as needed.
-
Coaching works best when there's a strong fit. That’s why I offer a free 20-minute consultation call to learn more about your needs, share how I work, and see if it feels like a good match. You should feel supported, understood, and comfortable trying new strategies without judgment.
-
Yes. Confidentiality is a core part of the coaching relationship. What you share in sessions stays private. While coaching is not a legally protected relationship like therapy or medicine, I treat your information with the utmost care and won’t share anything without your written permission.
-
I use HIPAA-compliant software to store client forms, notes, and communication securely. During onboarding, I’ll walk you through my privacy practices so you know exactly how your information is handled. Your trust matters, and I take data protection seriously.

In general, sessions range from $150-175 depending on the type of service.

Executive function coaching is not considered a medical service, so it isn’t covered by health insurance. However, clients occasionally use Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) if their plan allows. I can provide documentation upon request, but I can’t guarantee reimbursement.
